In these dark times, it feels as though the earth is drifting further and further away from the light. Aphelion explores the feeling of floating through space, hoping to return back to a familiar galaxy.
The album is rooted in hip-hop but draws it’s influences from Jazz Fusion, Prog Rock, Soul, and Funk. ILL Tal plays all instruments on the album including keys, synthesizers, guitar/bass, trumpet, and electric violin.
