Posted up a new beat. This one features a space age (and very chopped) synth loop. The original was very hollow sounding so I added A LOT of layers on top.
There is a fake piano chord from my trusty Roland Fantom on the bottom. Ran it through a Fender Twin Reverb and recorded with a mic to make it sound more like a real piano. Slightly above that (in frequency terms) is Arp Omni synths to add some depth. For the second part of the verse, there is an arpeggio from the Moog 37 (mostly sine wave) on the oscillator. Finally for the hook, there are Arp Omni strings to really brighten it up. Throw in a few boom bap drum loops and you got the beat!
