Decided to upload this rare, live version of Slick Rick and Doug E. Fresh (with DJ Chill Will) performing “La Di Da Di“. Not sure where it originally appeared, but I have it from an old bootleg Hip-Hop compilation record. Not sure of the date, but if I had to guess, it’s somewhere between 1985-1987. What makes this version special, is an additional verse – not on the studio version – about Vanessa Williams.
